Smile Linking a pdf

Hi Y'all,
A simple one I hope.
I want to link a PDF to my website so that people can view it. I'm not fussy if it opens in Adobe reader or on their browser, actually reader would probobly be preferable as I know how it looks then.

How do I do this?

Gratefull for all help.

Think you meant open a PDF file on your website from a page on the website? If so,
<a href="pdfs/pdffilename.pdf">linked text</a>
-pdfs is the folder where your pdf files are
-pdffilename.pdf is the name of the pdf file you want to open

about pdf's - they can be a pain for some people (like those using acrobat pro), tell them it's a pdf and make it open in a new window (tell them it opens in a new window). PDF's sometimes lock up a browser, people are more apt to open in it if it opens in a new window and you won't lose them if it locks up the new window..

Also thought I would note:

You cannot control whether it opens in the browser window or in the PDF application itself.

Foxit Reader I believe opens in the application itself if set to default while Adobe Reader opens in the browser for the latest versions (since around year 2007).
