I have a website that I was running the smf forum script on and it has either been hacked or the database has been corrupted. This happened recently, please take a look here http://casinoforums.info/index.php
Warning: require_once(/QueryString.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/casino/public_html/index.php on line 54
make sure to (re)include the file if not there and see if you still get that error.
maybe a reinstall would fix this if the db is not corrupted (do a db repair first and then backup the db); after you reinstall you can import the old db's data into the new one. If any error is displayed then, then you'll know for sure that your db has been corrupted...
What can I say, I have a smf forum myself and hope I won't have any of these problems ever but there's nothing you can do to prevent this from happening...it's open source...
Wow, is right.
Were you doing anything that might have triggered this?
Installing or uninstalling a mod, or theme?
Have you ever ran the maintenance scripts?
Thanks for the input I will try what you have suggested and see what happens. I checked the db in my cpanel and it shows no errors but I am half tempted to run the db fix there any how.
I have made no recent changes to the site at all and no I have not ran any maintenance scripts as of yet.
I will post an update and see if it gets better or worse, thanks all :-)
I run the onboard maintenance scripts (Admin > Forum Maintenance) every time I add a package or upgrade the forum software. Never had any issues with anything.
I suggest running those scripts when you do get it back up.
