If you've got Dreamweaver, find the code mode and type <div and then the space bar, there will be a list of all the attributes available for the div tag.

If you don't have dreamweaver tell me and I'll type them all in here.

Its messy, least in my opinion.

I work in Ultraedit or notepad, our websites were all designed via dreamweaver. Every time I need to edit scripting and html I need to run HTML Tidy on the files, then do a replace function to remove the huge pile of empty font tags.

To me dreamweaver is evil, I hate it and I glare at my co-workers every time they start it up

I agree completely i use textpad tho, its like notepad but has syntax highlighting cuz im the kind of stpuid person who forgets to close tags and such.

Dreamweaver isn't bad - it just depends on how you use it. If you're designing in the wysiwyg portion - then yes it adds a bunch of crap coding. But if you're in the coding portion it's like any other text editor. Oh and turn off all the auto fix crap too.. it's play hell on phpbb .tpl files or .php files with includes.
