Help with the next generation gallery

Can someone give me some help with the next generation gallery? I have the gallery installed and everything is working fine.

The problem is, when the images are open in a lightbox effect, hitting the ESC does not close them and there is no X button to close the image. In the border around the lightbox, there are no instructions "click the image to close it".

So after people open the image, there are no clear instructions on how to close it.

Any idea or suggestions on how to fix this problem?

I would look in the script and see what is making the effect happen. From there, you could add in your own link or 'X' image and then call to javascript when it is clicked and make the div where the lightbox is appearing go away, or if you know JS well enough, fade it out or whatever effect you would like.
