Website falling apart in large width screens :(

Hi,

I hope I've not missed this when browsing through the forum, my apologies if I have.

I have been working on this website for days and days (new at customizing Wordpress) however, my issue seems to be how it displays on a 21" screen. Is there anyway to solve this?

The theme I'm working on is here: http://mafiakitty.com/work/nageela/ and the screenshot of the problem is here: http://mafiakitty.com/grr.jpg

Thank you in advance for any direction ... I'm lost with this one!

Jennifer

I just viewed it and it looks fine in both IE and FF. (I have a widescreen)

It adjusts to the widescreen fine. But, to your picture, it looks like that photo image is aligned absolutely, which may be your problem.

I don't know for sure until you give us a peek at your code.

Looks fine to me - I'm not seeing the problem that you have in your screenshot and I'm on a widescreen too.

In IE 7 on my monitor your "frame" is above the wood grain background instead of on top of it. In FF it's better.

You have some coding errors in the page.

Also, this path can be a problem:
Code:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="http://mafiakitty.com/work/nageela/wp-content/themes/Camp Negeela/style.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
You have a space between Camp and Negeela. Rename the file with a hyphen between the words and upload after fixing the file name in your coding.

You also have the same issue with the path to your external JavaScript files.

You haven't done your menu quite right either. Look at how CSSPlay does his.

Jennifer420, as you can see in my screenshot, your site looks super on my (1440 × 900) 19" wide screen, and that orange background absolutely rocks and blends well with the other elements on the page but #F7921E isn’t web-smart and a small percentage of your users may not think its so pretty.
