How to make an email form without PHP?
How can I make an email form for my website without using PHP code? I use a free service for hosting and they have PHP disabled.

You have to post the request on a server side script, if your hosting has scripts disabled you may have to use a third party service such as www.mycontactform.com.
Your HTML form will request against their server and then they will redirect back to your site. There are several third party systems like that, I suggest googling to find one that suits your needs (eg. free to use, customizable, without ads, etc...)

As it’s really a guest book and not an email form per se, UltraGuest may not be quite what you’re looking for but it’s quite good, IMO. See if it can somehow be adapted to your needs.

Thanks hades for your suggestion. I tried http://www.freedback.com but their free plan has too many ads. Did you use http://www.123contactform.com? I think they require a backlink, but maybe it can be removed directly from the final form...

Ideally, the form I’m looking for should - be FREE with minimal ads (I can live with some ads but pop-ups are an absolute NO-NO!)
- have CAPTCHA or some other sort of spam protection
- allow unlimited submissions (that should be no problem if ads are required)
- allow upload fields
- allow me to put it on my site or alternatively allow me to style it to look like my site. (In both cases, I would like to be able to include all the links that appear on the rest of my site)
- allow me to put the “Thank You” page on my site or alternatively allow me to style that page like my site (along with all links that appear on the rest of my site)
Does anyone know about such a service? (In the meantime, I’ll do some Googling of my own to see what I can find.)

Hello guys,
Have you try this one? I'm using theirs on my static website at the moment. It includes captcha too.

I love wufoo.com, it's absolutely the best online form builder.

Chris Coyier at CSS-Tricks.com also swears by them. Maybe I should have another look at his Wufoo Forms screencast.
The thing is, just a few hours ago I viewed another one of Mr Coyier’s screencasts, on advanced form styling and functionality but this type of form isn’t remotely hosted and requires PHP. But it’s also very good and at this juncture I’m not sure which route is better. I think I’ll have another look at both screencasts before deciding if to go with Wufoo and leave the site where it is or move the site to a PHP enabled server.
Nevertheless, thanks to both yourself and jimisan for the tips.

Okay, I just found out that the free version of Wufoo, like the free version of all other remotely hosted forms I’ve checked thus far, doesn’t allow file uploads. So, even though it has very nice features, it’s not for me.
