hello everyone!

i am a total noob at all of this, so please bear with me. i made a website using webplus x2. i know very little about coding, html, etc. i have the site up and running. now it is possible to access the site's homepage via:

www.sitename.zzl.org
sitename.zzl.org
www.sitename.zzl.org/index.html
sitename.zzl.org/index.html

I want to redirect 3 of them via 301 to www.sitename.zzl.org. any hints on how to do this?

Is it a windows or a linux based hosting? In Linux you can have a .htaccess file added to the root directory to redirect all the 4 requests to the same URL.

I have gone thru your hosting zymic and it is PHP based, so you can use htaccess file to achieve what you are looking for.

Here is a good link for you
http://www.tamingthebeast.net/articl...1-redirect.htm

It has the exact info on what you are looking for.

Its pretty straight, so go thru and get back to me if you have any issues..

This is my biggest reply to a post in the last two years LOL :-)
