Hi I added some html code around the php tags in the index.php so the chatroom sits within my template. But when I click logout it displays this error

Also I can't get the footer of my website to display after the chatroom for reason.

setcookie() needs to be sent before any other output.

You could place that piece of code (lines 293 and 294) to be above the header files.

Edit: Or, you could do it the quick and dirty way and place ob_start(); at the top of the page.

Can you post your footer files? I noticed in your page that you have 2 head tags. That could be causing the problem.

There is something wrong in the way you have implemented the template, becuase if I see the HTML source that is rendered in the browser, there is a HEAD section which is repeated twice and there is no HTML related to your FOOTER.

Ok, I see what the problem is now. First as I have told you earlier we have the issue with the HTML getting repeated(thats a different story, so lets not get into that now.).

The problem is you are doing an

exit;

at many places and the code does not go beyond the exit;
To fix the issue of your footer not being visible, remove the

Quote:

exit;

lines which you think will not cause an issue. I think all the

exit;

which you have after this line

I downloaded X7 Chat and have a quick fix for you. You need to replace all the

Then, open lib/output.php and go to line 196. You should see;

Thats great and it shows on all the pages except the main chatroom page. Thanks for giving it a go though

Ha I managed to get the footer to show up on the chat roompage by adding my footer to the frame.php

Wether thats right or wrong I have no clue, but it is showing so
