anybody know how to add real-time (15 minute delay is fine) stock quotes to a site?

XML. You might have to sign up for a service to access realtime stock quotes.

clarification. i just want to show a single stock's current price, volume, etc on the page. i dont need the ability for the user to quote any stock...

It doesn't matter, you still need to get the realtime data from somewhere even if it's only 1 stock price.

found a way to do it with html...of course, i haven't had it during trading hours to see if its real time, 15 minutes delayed, or more.

check the cisco site in my sig for an example.

The only problem with your solution is that they (yahoo) changes their image names from time to time to prevent "hotlinking" and "screenscraping". So I don't see this as a long term solution for you unless you signed up for a service.

I used to get the weather from yahoo this way and it would fail every once in a while. Hope this works better for you.

Is there anyway I can use PHP and HTML to accomplish the same feat?

I understand that you need to use XML and a RSS feed to do this but right now I don't have the time to read up on XML.
