IE problems with CSS

I've been working on a design for my new website, but I'm having massive problems with IE. Whatever I seem to do it always seems to display the same problem.

See here - (design nowhere near complete ) - http://www.blueuniverse.co.uk/articl...long-nicely-5/

Notice how it displays with the comments to the right of the sidebar in Firefox yet in IE the comments display below.

The CSS for this is -
http://www.blueuniverse.co.uk/wp-con..._cup/style.css

I'm pretty much out of luck, I just want to try and get somebody else to have a look over it in case I missed anything.

Also, while on the subject, can anybody work out why I'm getting that white bit sticking off the bottom to the right in firefox?

Thanks,

Edward

Try making the width of the sidebar or the main content area smaller. I had the same problem once and when I made the one part smaller, it fixed it.

Send a message via Skype™ to Ricoool
when you do cross browser css try to use only margin or padding per container (div,p etc.) and set the other value to 0
as soon as you use both margin and padding on a container it all gets f***** up

So true, but templating a blog thing with html is like a crime punishable by death.

I tried changing the width of the right bit but I didn't think to check the sidebar, so I'll have a look at that now.

Well tried reducing the sidebar by 50 pixels, but IE still said No. :S

Yeah, but I want to get it all done in CSS so it is fully XHTML compatible. Plus using tables would mean redoing everything including a lot of the default Wordpress code whereas with CSS it should hopefully just be a few little changes.
