How to with Dreamweaver/database Question?

This might require a database?

I need the easiest way to change 2-3 lines of text on about 15 sites. The lines of text go in various places on the page (they are disclaimers, etc) and vary slightly and seem to change about every month depending on the whim of some suppliers. I would like to be able to input the text into one file, excell sheet, database, etc. and then have the sites change accordingly.

I need something faster than editing and FTPing on each site. I know this is too easy for you guys, but it's something I haven't ever had to do myself.

Help. Please.

You can set up a cronjob that does a rcp or scp to as many sites as you want. there, you could use server side includes that include the file you've uploaded.

you would of course want to keep the same filename all the time.

If you want to control it without logging in to every site you could put a file in a directory on a server and have each site reference a different directory on this server. Then use an IFrame to pull the content from the server into their pages. So you might have a directory called "site1" and a file called index.shtml. Then this page index.shtml could be update via php scripts or from a database, or from server side includes. If you are using php or SSI you could use simple flat text files to store the information - the part that changes. Just a thought. Best of luck.
