I use Joomla to run a main site and "children sites" spun off of it with different templates. Joomla works great for my site needs (estore, job center, etc.) Also got WordPress for blogs, a couple of which have wraps that integrate them into my Joomla site (so they look like part of the site as compard to a stand-alone blog). Like a good baker, why not mix and match what you need when you need it? (Or am I just confessing I am lazy at heart?

As far as my knowledge is concerned wordpress is best because WordPress is web software used to create a beautiful website or blog. We like to say that WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time.

Wordpress by far is the best solution out there.
I agree with @mangome.
We recommend this for any site needing more robust features.
It is also very easy to navigate in the admin. I have had to assist many people with their Joomla and drupal admin. It was not as easy as Wordpress.

CMS Solutions
Here is a nice list of the various CMS software available today: http://php.opensourcecms.com/scripts...mber=1&catid=1
As everyone seems to be mentioning, Joomla, Drupal, and Wordpress are a few of the most widely used/popular ones. As far as which one is better, it really depends on what you're trying to accomplish and your web development knowledge/background and which one you've learned to use. Wordpress for more novice is best while Joomla and Drupal for a bit more advanced folks. Wordpress has recently made a lot of improvements and a lot more people are using it for various CMS purposes that they could not in the past. Bottom line, you can use all three depending on your CMS needs and the one you learn to use first, will most probably be the one you like and continue to use. Is one better than the other? Nobody can clearly prove...

Though the choice for each individual is different, still I personally prefer Joomla most.

I don't want to talk about it that Wordpress is a CMS or its a blogging platform but i believe Wordpress is the best option for new webmasters and also for advanced ones. It has many plugins and its supporting very well with great programmers.

In terms of SEO wordpress would be good. The performance of the site will also be good and has many plugins which makes our work more and more easy. I am sure a professional seo could suggest wordpress.

Drupal is the best. Drupal 7 ( now it is in beta stage ) is packed with functionality like blog, forum, user registration, image gallery, image upload, file upload etc.
With user modules we can extend it enormously.

hi,
In my point of view both are having many features. Let see about Drupal.
Which is the open source CMS platform that is Very useful for content management and drupal web development. This is not the 'add on' content management system feature of old, but a whole new way of creating great looking and highly functional online masterpieces that allow the client complete control over the content and function of the web experience.
thanks
