How do i place my affiliate links in my Forum post

Hello all I was wondering if someone could help me
understand how to put my affiliate links in my
Forum post
I am the Admin
of a particular Forum
and i was just wondering
how can i place an affiliate link
code in the post
im having such difficulty with this
the link goes as follows

Fitst of all I would use a redirection script and link to it.

To put a link in a forum you need to code it like this:

Code:

 [ url = www.vbulletin.com/forum ]vBulletin Community Forums[ /url ]

Take out the spaces to make it work.

This is giving me such grief today all im trying to do is get the affiliate link for Macys
into my post
the link goes like this,
