Hi, John.

May 11, 2006 I sent you a PM regarding troubles I was having trying to submit a script. Is it better to ask questions in the forum rather than PM you (i.e. - do you read PMs)?

Always better to post on the forum.

What kind of trouble were you having?

I was trying to submit a script page to V7N's Script site: Javascript > Calculators.

The proposed title was "Quadratic Equation Solver (and more!)".

However, the form did not like the title, but didn't indicate what was wrong with it.

The form also wanted a Version and download URL, but I had left these fields blank.

The page I am trying to submit is a Javascript page, so the page itself contains the source code. An additional download page seems unnecessary.

Regarding the Version, no version is supplied on this page. The utility works, and I don't think it will be updated (math is math). I could probably just invent a Version, just to make the form happy, but would prefer not to.

Is there a way around these hurdles?

Why not copy and paste the listing details here, and I'll see about getting it listed

Okay, here it is (perhaps delete the last few posts later, so this thread isn't filled up with this):

Title: Quadratic Equation Solver (and more!)

URL: http://www.akiti.ca/Quad2Deg.html

Description:
The Quadratic Equation Solver posted on this page solves for both real and imaginary (if applicable) results. Also on this site: solvers for the Cubic and Quartic equations, N Equations in N Unknowns, Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors, Cubic Spline Interpolation, Numerical Integration, and Least-Squares Data-Fitting.

Hello,

I tried to submit our script but haven't heard anything back from it. This was about 3 days ago.

Should I resubmit?

I have hundreds of scripts I have made from PHP

But you know what the problem is? Actually editing so people know what stuff is inside the code, and making it user friendly installation, and whatever else

By clicking on the appropriate category in the link list on the left here http://www.v7n.com/scripts/ , then clicking the "Add Script" link.
