Quick question, I'm on a machine with core Light ftp and need to chmod a folder on a server, can't delete or upload anything in the damn thing, does anyone know how to find the chmod functions in core ftp light?

Nah, I have WS_FTP pro on my other machine and like that a lot, I just found that I can add the chmod commands manually in the custom commands box. Thanks for your reply, I think I've got it now.

You could login to the cpanel and use the file manager.

Trough ftp and cPanel, I can upload stuff in the Joomla admin but the general /images folder isn't in there, only content stuff and I need to change some icons, images and such in the template. I was thinking that it could be some internal permission setting from within the template but I have no idea how that would be done or disabled.
It's a bought template btw, that I am customizing now
