Virtual Path?

Seeking out a way to find the virtual path for my site... I'm using ASP but I guess I can use java or anything else... I've messed with the Server.MapPath string but it didn't help much...

What do you mean by "Virtual Path"?

lets say:

http://www.mywebdomain.tld/directory/file.extension

is actually on the server at

/var/www/webdomain.tld/directory/file.extension

Do you want it to return /directory/file.extention
or /var/www/webdomain.tld or what?

i ment to say the absolute path but its cool I got it....

Server.MapPath("/") will show the root folder then to get the absolute path up to but not including the folder you're in u use,

Server.MapPath("../")

I dont know how to get the exact file you're in unless locating a specific file which in that case its

Sever.MapPath(file")
