Form Fields question

HI, i posted this in the wrong forum to start with maybe one of the mods can delete the other thread



I am looking to pass some information through a form on my sites home page to
a whois lookup on another page (my order page) what is the best way to do this

the form is at http://testsite.finishhost.com and the order is at https://secure.finishhost.com/sales/...derwiz.php?v=3

I would like for it to work like this:
user inputs the domain name on the front page of my site and it gets passes to the order form and automatically does the lookup and goes to step 2 of the process (domain lookup results)

any one have any ideas on this? if i have not put enough information just let me know

The above URLs do not seem to contain the form or information you state, so I can only guess at the solutions.

I edited the froms out so i could go ahead get the site running.

http://testsite.finishhost.com/basic.htm that is a link to a page that did not get edited the form feilds are in the middle of the page for the domain check.
I want saome to enter a domain a name there and it go through to my billing system which does the whois lookup on it to see if it is available

Surely just do something like:

I will try that, i have not used the domain lookup on the site yet. Hoepfully that will take care of it
