ASP to ASP.NET

Our programmer who quit completed 50% of our program in ASP & MS SQL and the new candidates want to use ASP.net.

Is this a possible solution or is it to late?

It's doable. You should be using the more up-to-date technology anyways.

So .net is more up-to-date then ASP? My ex-freelance programmer worked in ASP for that is the direction he took.

ASP.net will be quicker to implement than Classic ASP because much of the basic coding is done for you like paging. I love classic ASP but ASP.net and ASP.net 2 is buch better.

It's not too late but for one thing. You'll have to serialize session state between ASP and ASP.Net pages (and vice versa) because they don't share the same memory.
