Looking for a search engine script?

Sorry didnt no where to post this

I am looking for a really good search egine script php would be best and one that dosnt use other SE's for there results, does anyone know of any and free if pos.

I have looked on google but with me never using one before I dont want to just start downloading them, and would love some views on what ones are the best

I have used one and I like it. It's a PERL/CGI script and it's not free. It allows you to pull results from other search engines, but that is optional.

I was looking at that Zoom Search Engine they do a free one and a paid one, also they offer a indexing software, I dont no if any one has used it here if so some info on that would be grea

It's called Smart Search. It doesn't do indexing, though. If you don't pull from other search engines, then the only results you have are from your own PPC customers.

The script costs $69 by itself, but I bought their whole package... all of their scripts. I really like their Ad Smart and Intellilink scripts too. I also have a modified version of their freelancers script on one of my websites.
