css image hover

hi first of all i would like u to have a look at

http://www.texturizer.net/firebird/themes/

it is like a gallery, when u move the mouse over an image , then another image pops up - it seems to use the same image for both normal and popup

i know that it does not work with internet explorer, it works with mozilla

I would like to know how can this be done, or how to do smth similar to this, in any way

it is a nice effect

any help would be appreciate

Welcome to the forum, Sornok. Responses might be a bit slow during the holiday season as a lot of regular members aren't on the forums. Give it a day, and I'm sure somebody will help you out.

That's because you are using IE. Anyway, you can get the same effect as that with a regular image rollover script.

Distorted is on the right pathDistorted is on the right path
In case you still want to do that without a script, here is a link that describes a technique that could be altered to do what you want.

http://www.meyerweb.com/eric/css/edge/popups/demo2.html

I guess that you would just change the height and width instead of the visibility and position properties with the :hover thing.
