Why not look at the source code of the website and search it.

Almost every new browser lets you see the source and search it.

View sourcecode (Ctrl+U) and then search (Ctrl+F).

Alternatively, the web developer add-on for Firefox: there's a feature that highlights any tags you want it to

Using Firefox? Install the Firebug extension. It allows you to see HTML & CSS code of anything displayed in a web page. For example, if something appears BOLD, just hover your mouse over that "bold" item and it'll show the underlying code in the bottom panel. HTML code on the left and CSS on the right.

Because it's probably a faster way of viewing source code.

Yeah, Microsoft was probably born in Australia and we might have been tricked to think otherwise!

Easy way:
Get Web Accessibility Toolbar (available for IE and Opera).
Click Structure/Headings

Shows heading tags on screen.

Also has lots of other helpful stuff that isn't just accessibility related.

This has already been suggested a number of times.

Now, the problem with you guys suggestion doing the view source method is: If the page does have heading tags in it, you don't know if they are used correctly as far as heading hierarchy is concerned unless you get right into the code. A problem for the novice.

With the toolbar I suggested the person can see on the content on the screen where the heading tags are and if they follow the proper heading structure.
