replace/swap image with rollover link

Can someone send me to sample for a simple image swap?
Something like below, I just want to have 3 links on top
and have the image or backround image of a div below
swap images when one of the links is moused over.

I know this is simple but searched & found really old pages
& scripts so just thought I should find something newer....
