i havent done it on my site yet im wondering if you can go to this site above and get the code for how he does this pop up.

This is needed : if the user goes to click the 'X' button on IE the site window will not close a popup will appear for them to read then once they hit the "x" close on the popuup window everything will dissapear.

I think its called a popup hover ad

can anyone tell me what code to use for this.

It means that, when you unload the page (leave it), it runs exitpop(), which is a javascript function. I guess it would look something like this:

   alert('I am a pop up!');
   return false;
}

However, putting something like this on your site, IMO, makes it less professional and a hindrance. I hate to be held back by a website when I want to leave.
