Browser Size

I recently viewed my web page at 1680x1050 which is a high resolution to view a web page. And found my web page renders not so good as it's a fixed width. At 1080x1024 it looks alright, is there any way to force the browser to a specific width, lets assume that someone makes there browser the maximum size ?

I wouldn't mess with the visitor's browser window if I were you. Could lead to some that will not visit your site again.

i think forcing the browser's width/height to your own specifications is not recommended..
only spammers and online viruses do that..

what you can do is to make your layout liquid/fluid that can accommodate large resolution screens.. or you can do a responsive layout that caters various screen resolutions..

always remember your site must suit the visitor's browser not your visitor should suit to your site..

Liquid Layout is what I'm after. I don't quite understand responsive layout from the link you supplied ?
