What doe $template::parse_d ( head_styles ) mean?

Hello All,

I have tried to copy a template by simply copying all of the files from the original template and saving them in another folder. I have upload the template to my server in the appropriate place, but when I activate it and go the the page all I get is "$template::"parse_d ( head_styles )" and nothing else on the screen. What does this mean and how can I fix it?

I have no idea. There's just not enough information here nor do I understand what you did. For example... the template you copied, was it meant for and compatible with the script you are using?

If there is a configuration variable or global variable called debug. Set it to true.

Thank you for the reply. All I essentially did was copy all of the files and paste them into another folder and renamed it. I then uploaded the new folder to the server to use as a template and $template::parse_d ( head_styles ) is what shows up.

What is the template made for? It looks like the template is made for some kind of cms, and maybe that cms is not present to process the template.

The output $template::"parse_d ( head_styles ) tells me that something, maybe a cms or script processor like Perl, Python or php, have not processsed that codeline, but instead just returned the code to the web browser.

Maybe if you could give some more information about the template, it would be easier to find some more specific informations about your problem.

It's made for phpLinkBid script. I apologize if I seem a bit vague. I'm not a complete newbie, but I just can't understand why it doesn't work. I copied and pasted the exact same code and created exact replicas, the only thing I changed was the top folder name (the name of the template). What other type of information could I give you to help?
