Flash Horizontal Scrolling Slideshow

I am putting together a portfolio page in Flash 8 on a Mac OS X, and I need to know how to set up a horizontally scrolling slideshow, where the user has a scrollbar/scroll buttons to move the images back and forth across the screen.

The inspiration for this came from this site: www.montrail.com My boss saw this interface and just went nuts. I think the fast side-scrolling is vertigo-inducing, myself.

Also, when the user clicks on an image, it needs to enlarge, and then have some additional information come up. I can probably figure this part out on my own.

Any help is greatly appreciated--I've been using Flash on the front end for years, but I'm still a newbie at ActionScript!

We actually ended up having a web developer build what we needed in JavaScript, rather than Flash. Kind of too bad, as I know Flash MUCH better than JS!
