I had this issue in the past but after I switched to Yoast SEO plugin I was able to put a checkmark on a option to not have /page/34/ indexed by the search engines.
This what I had changed--> Noindex subpages of archives
(If you want to prevent /page/2/ and further of any archive to show up in the search results, enable this.)
Took a long time for Google to remove all those pages from there index (404's included)
I know that you are using the All In One SEO plugin and i'm not sure if there is a option to prevent these pages from getting indexed.
In google webmaster tools, click on CONFIGURATION and then URL PARAMETERS. You can fix things up in there.
