Exclamation Facebook doesnt pull any image for my site

When i write www.livephotoshop.com to my fb status, it doesnt pull any image for it. I pulls all the description, title and everything very well but just no image.

When i like the page through the fb like button in my homepage, it puts the image and same with the fb send button. But I dont get an image when i write the address of the site in my status.

Put this between your <head></head> tags.

Code:
<link rel="image_src" href="example-image.jpg"/>
Facebook and other sites use this to determine the thumbnail.

Edit
Just found this.

You need to include: <meta property="og:image" content="example-image.jpg" /> between your <head></head> tags also.

Quote:
All the images referenced by og:image must be at least 200px in both dimensions. Please check all the images with tag og:image in the given url and ensure that it meets the minimum specification.

I have done both of them and it still doesnt work. The problem is not the like or share buttons in my page. Those are already good. And the codes you wrote above are for the like/share etc. actions.

My problem is When i write www.livephotoshop.com in my status in FB it doesnt pull the image.

Alright, you have 2 options that I know of.

1. Go to: http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug and add your URL to clear Facebook's cache of your website.

OR

2. Add a style="display:none" on the image you want to display on Facebook between the <body> tags. Then select which image you wish to display as thumbnail via Facebook.

That is the extent of my knowledge, try https://developers.facebook.com/docs/guides/web/ to learn more about the API.

can you explain both options please?
First option, I couldn't find a way to add my websites cache. It has only the debug options and results there which shows my site having the right codes to have a thumbnail.

second option, can you tell me the exact code and where to add it exactly?

Can you give me a link to the image you are trying to use as a thumbnail on Facebook?

1st: If the thumbnail image is being displayed on the debugger it should technically work.

2nd: <img style="display:none" src="example-image.jpg" alt="example image"/> within the <body></body> tags anywhere (it won't be displayed by the browser on your website).

If you go to homepage, you will see the codes are added in the source.

It works fine in the debug page but not in the fb status when i write the site address. You can try it yourself. Just write www.livephotoshop.com in your status and see. You dont have to post it. Just write and check when it loads the page info there.

I added this code in the body tag also. But still the same. I use FF and when I type www.godaddy.com it pulls a thumbnail for it right away. But It doesnt pull one for my site.

Also I dont know why but this problem doesnt happen in my other website www.lullabyabc.com
FB pulls options of images for my lullaby website which is very cool.

The image used in og:image must be 200px x 200px minimum to display on FB.

Your image is 48px 48px

lullabyabc.com's is 672px 313px

The reason you are not getting any applicable images to set as thumbnails is because the only image on your page is .../images/add_to_favorites.png.

Option 1.
a. Increase the size of the image to at least 200px x 200px.
b. Use the debugger once you have updated your site with the image.
c. Test it.

Option 2.
a. Update the invisible image in your body tags with: <img style="display:none;width:210px;height:210px;" src="example-image.jpg" alt="example image"/>
b. Use the debugger once you have updated your site with the image.
c. Test it.

I remember FB being a pain with a client I had, we eventually got it fixed. FB make it so hard for no reason.

I hope this works.

The only remaining thing I can suggest is keeping the image 256x256, changing the image name and trying again.
Facebook probably have the smaller image cached for your website.
