margin:0px; should take the blank spaces away shouldnt it? Its not working though  any help?

spacing:0px ?????
You also have to make sure your dimensions add up, and that prblem is compunded by the differences in browsers rendering models, primarily the IE vs. standard box model.

 I always used to give anything a try, these days I don't have time to try things that seem obvious to me, I know if I had designed CSS it would do what I wan't they way I want, but it probably wouldn't be much use for other developers! So now the the guides and lists are invaluable... anyone know why http://stuff.thespear.net doesnt work in Firebird but it works in IE..
Well, it works.. just is not centered and has padding issues..
