Matits, It's funny you don't know what CSS is because you're already using them on your site!

It's funny how we use tables and CSS for layout when they weren't designed for that purpose. What's that, did I hear layers?

lol @ Rick....

anyway, on to matits....

you could start by going back and trying to get rid of as many <font> tags as you can...they aren't really smiled upon in most browsers these days....

most <b> and <i> tags have been replaced with strong and emphasis respectively as well....these are just a few things to get a site up to standards...

the size of your layout also seems off ..at least to my browser..which you don't want right...i'm running IE5 btw.

anyway, we've failed to ask the most obvious question here....WHY ISN'T THIS MOVED TO THE WEBSITE REVIEW SECTION?

CSS has nothing to do with standards. Do you understand what I'm talking about? She wants to know how to get her page to look the same on all browsers. The answer is, it's impossible. One little table not lining up is the least of her problems. But if we're only talking about that small issue, if she uses a little CSS to handle the positioning of certain page elements (and removing margins) it should work.

ohh your yapping about cross browser compatibility ok

its just that i thought were talking about html standards like 3.2 etc..

CSS is part of html stds you have to use it in 4.01 strict

cross-browser compatiaility is impossible without (a) creating code to the standards and (b) all browsers conforming to the standards.

The browser makers are on their way, and slowly making the browsers compliant, and people viewing the web are slowly downloading the newer browsers.
So hopefully soon (or eventually) we can all use either standard xhtml+css+ other standard technologies OR flash depending on the goals and content of our sites.

Umm... not true. July 2003 browser stats from W3 Schools:

Browser Version

Internet Explorer 6.x = 59%
Internet Explorer 5.x = 34%
Internet Explorer 4.x = 1%
Netscape 4.x = 1%
Other Netscape compatible = 1%
Opera = 1%

Browsers that count for less than 0.5% are not listed.
