Decide based on your interest. If you are interested in developing websites / web applications, you can study HTML, CSS, javascipt as the base. For programming, you can study PHP, ASP.net, Ruby On Rales etc. PHP will be easy to learn, less expansive hosting also many open source applications can be found online. You can also use frameworks such as codeigniter, YII etc to get your custom applications done, Magento to get your ecommerce done, wordpress to get your CMS / blog done.

All of the above is very good advice when it comes to learning coding to start mobile app development. I would just like to add that there is a website called code academy where you can start learning these languages and app development. Thanks

If you want to design mobile app based on web then you need to learn PHP, SQL, Javascript. Also to design interface for moble app Java will be needed. For IOS it is obvious Objective C. Don't waste your time with C or C++. You are going to use them for understanding what is the purpose of programming. I suggest you to learn C# or Python.

Working with phonegap can be troubled I think. Have you heard about Titanium?
Looks much easier than phonegap.

Hello Bhanu

Hi bhanu,

iOS uses a programming language called Objective-C, which is related to C++. Android also uses the Java language.
So you can learn it.

Good Night..

Jas.

java script, php and html are very important for webdesign.

HTML is the basic language that is used to design fixed display websites.

PHP is the server side language that enables generation of new html based on what user does. A good example of PHP application is a search directory. When user searches for certain type of business, the form that is displayed in response is generated by PHP based on what businesses matched the criteria.

Java script is browser side language. Many powerful features on websites are implemented by java script.

You should try Swift programming language which is released by Apple and it's much easier than objective-c when it comes to mobile applications.

However, if you want to work online and want to get paid $$/hour then learn Python. If you can learn Javascript as well then it's perfect combination.

Don't just go for the easiest language, It will help you in long run and will surely increase your value as developer.
