Something adding &cfs=1 to image links

Has anyone figured out who/what is adding &cfs=1 to images?

My 404 stats are steadily increasing with this error.

There is no referral link shown in Awstats where they are linking from but I know that these images are being referanced/shown on social networking sites because these images are in a specific folder for that purpose.

I myself have referenced them in my Open Graph tags and Twitter card and they have been picked up when I post to social media. I post these to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+. There is no sharing button scripts on the site. i.e. I already have found in my research that AddThis can cause this but I am not using it.

Can you let me know which application you are using? There are cases where url parameters are added to image source to escape from being cached. Usually this is done when the image source is to a php file or something and the php file gives image data on each refresh. But since the source is not changing, this will be cached and the image wont change on page load. In those cases, url parameters are added to avoid this from being cached

Cheers
Arun

I am coding my reference to the images by hand so it is not on my end.

An outside source (probably Pinterest, Facebook or Twitter) is adding &cfs=1 to the external link attached to my image on their site.
