Search Engine script?

Hi, i wanted to know if someone knows of a search engine script (free or cheap). A script that lets visitors to add their sites and i can erase them if i want to....not a directory script but a search engine one.

I don't know any ready-to-go search engine application/script, maybe someone else? But you could write your own search engine with zend_search_lucene (PHP).

Depends on what do you want. Do you want to do a big database ? then you need to know more about paralelization and database distrbution ... if you want something just to play try to find htdig or mnogosearch (ex udm search)
