Where would I go in vBulletin adminCP to edit the Welcome Email and the Post Reply Notification email?

My only reason for saying that is that he has made recent changes in the forums and in the policies making the current read me announcement post out of date. My mistake.

I was going to include a couple links in the Welcome Email, including the Forum Guidelines thread and the Signature Links thread.

just jokin ,
ok go to
AdminCP , vBulletin Options , User Registration Options , Welcome Private Message
Set the username the PMs should be coming from there. If you want to adjust the text, click on the pm title and pm body links and write your text into the box for the English language.
Same thing for welcome emails, except that you have an option to send them or not, instead of inputing a username.
you love me
I WANT TO BE FIRST TO GET WELCOME PM1111!!

You already know that the welcome announcement (read me) in each forum still invites them to set up their signature right after registering to join, right? It also discusses sponsors having access to the ambassadors forum.

Hey John,
From my forum knowlege, the Welcome Email message is usually stored in the templates page in the Admin. This is where you not only can edit the template for the emails, but as well as the overal forum skin.
As for your Welcome PM, that is a hack that you have to install yourself for the code, and is quite easy.
The last vB I used was way back and I believe the first 1.0 series
But this is where I got the mod for it at: http://www.vbulletin.org
Happy hunting!
