Page Hit Counter

I need a hit counter which count the number of visitor view of my certain page and show it to another page.

I appreciate any of yours help.

You'll need some sort of persistent storage (i.e. flat file or database) to store the hits so the unrelated page can get a hold of them. Once you decide on a mechanism, you'll build the hit counter into the page you want to count.

I'm very noob in script...i'm using mysql database but i wish to store the hits on a text file...can u prefer me a link which guide me the way to build the hit counter?
