As you are from India, I don't think so. In India, first preference is degree. Then only you will be considered for applying job. It doesn't matters if you are an ass having a graduate degree. A person having degree can get job in India but person having much knowledge has to wander here and there.
If you have good luck, you may get a job. But I think that will be waste of time.
According to me, you should approach to any good small company to work as Python developer. Ask them for little salary. If they agree, then work for 1 or 2 years.
After having 1-2 yrs experience, your degree will not be taken into consideration in good companies. They will see only your knowledge. After that you can expect good salary.
Hope this helps.

If you learn it so it is a plus point for you, so I don't think there is any issue to learn it before graduation or after graduation, if you have interested to learn so there is no age restriction to learning something. The main thing is there is your willingness to the particular thing and your hard work.

His question is about landing to a job. Please specify your view about whether he can get a job or not. Everyone knows that learning something is a plus point.

Go for Java instead of Python. You will get better job opportunities and scope.

It's not a highly demanded development skill. If you haven't already, then master PHP.

Always a good idea. ANd lets not forget that when you know one langauge (especially if its a derrivative of C) then picking up these other languages is merely only a matter of hours to become a pro at.
