What type of code did you learn first?
Was it HTML? PHP? ... Something else? What was the first of coding that you learn first before any others?

A year after the internet changed from being a private to becoming a public (free) system I was taught how to create a website at UNI. It was all hand coded HTML back then, then CSS, then dabbled in lots of various code over the years since.

What Type of code you learn first
Well, I started with C, then C++, then C#. However, I would recommend you to go with C++ as it has a lot to offer for beginners. Also, it starts from the scratch and goes in the depth of every concept. Have a strong knowledge of OOP is must.

Would you believe "load-and-go" Basic and Fortran II ??? (but it was in the late 60s)
Later on TRS-80 Basic, Commodore Basic, 6502 Assembly, and a touch of Pascal.
Most recently (got distracted from Java and C++) HTML, Javascript, CSS, PHP
But am entirely self taught since high school in the 60s.
Do people actually bother to write the "Hello World" thing? Really? See Spot run! Run, Spot, run!
