How Lessen White Space Between Image and Text Below in HTML

I'm using a responsive site with html pages. I want to lessen the white space between an image and text below the image. I was able to do this in a test site by adding an inline style:

style="margin-bottom: -0.6%;

using a standard web font. But, this style doesn't work in my regular site where the text is a Google font. Is the Google font causing the issue or something else?

Thanks for your help!
