Making forums and home page look the same.

Okay, as of right now, I am using WordPress to manage my site...and
Simple Machines for my forums....
I want the fourms (http://forum.nkbphoto.com)
to look like my home page http://nkbphoto.com, but without the sidebars.

I can pay someone to do this
but only about $15, I don't think that is enough. if its not, can you at least try to explain it to me?

I'm not sure about WordPress, but SMF you can alter by making a copy of the default template and style sheet and making the changes to the copy. It takes some time, depending on how custom you want to make it look. If you want to alter the layout and the graphics, then you'd be better off knowing a bit about HTML, CSS, and PHP. There may be themes out there that are matching for WP and SMF that you can install on both scripts.

Are you talking about just matching the colors and background or a more precise match?

Hey jumpen. Guess I shouldn't be surprised to see you here.

You can make the changes as small or as major as you like. Most, if not all of the sites layout (SMF) is in the template and style sheets. I saw a style sheet cheat sheet once by following a link from SMF's website, but I found it to be easier to decipher the style sheet on my own.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe that WP is just as easy to change as well. Plus I think I have seen a plugin that will bridge SMF with WP.
