How to get RSS feed on site?

I am designing a new version of www.missionenvironment.com at www.biggerhockey.com . See how I have that rss feed on the original website? I did that through Joomla, but now I need to know how to do that without Joomla. Anyone know?

RSS to HTML or RSS to PHP?

There are a few options, codes. Many more than these:
http://magpierss.sourceforge.net/
http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/publishers/buzzboost

Depends on what exactly you are trying to achieve.

to html would make things easier, but if php has more advantages, then ill go with that.

I thought I said what I wanted to achieve? Did you want me to explain more of something?

I tried using feedburner. I put in the rss feed and filled out the form, but all it did was create a feedburner page, but I need the code to put it on my page. Is feedburner the wrong thing to be using?

Feedburner just republishes your feed - look at buzzboost specifically. Though.. I think it uses javascript. I can't remember.

In which case, look at magpie.

To be honest, I haven't done this myself in a couple of years. Just google it, or look at the options I gave you see if they offer what you need.

I tried googling this for the past few days, and I cant find anything. As far as I have read so far,the best way to do this is to find an RSS feed and use a script to get it into static html. Then use a cron job to update it once in a while so it doesnt slow down your site. Any idea how to do this or where I can find a tutorial?

check if this is what you need: http://zvonnews.sourceforge.net/

If you look here on this page: http://www.tuning.online.pt/tuning-highlights.php

on the left column, under adsense block I have publish some headlines from my other site's feeds or from other reference sites...

I can use css to change the looks etc...

I choose to display only the title but you can customize it...
