Extracting .zip file on web

I'm looking for a solution of the following problem:

I have a .php file to upload a .zip file into a folder(e.g, myzips,), then to unzip the file in that folder. I can create the folder 'myzips' and upload the .zip file. But the problem is to unzip/extract the file there.

Is there anybody who can help me in solving the problem? Green rep will obviously be provided

Sorry, you would have to be a lot more specific. Are you uploading this zip file to a host server or is this the web site uploading this zip file to someone's local drive? I'm not even sure which direction the file is going and that will have a big effect on what your options are. What is this for? Give us a little background so we know how to answer. This does sound like a bit of a project though. Good Luck.

There are complications that can come from this. Like your hosting has to enable the zip functions DLL file, which could be easily done.
