Ajax chat

Hi guys,

I need to make an Ajax for my chat script to eliminate the refreshing flash, can you please help? The database is Postgres and it's running on my uni lab environment..

that flash is because the form is in a iframe and whenever a user is trying to send a message there is a page postback - that happens when you submit something through the web.

Search the web for a complete ajax code, or you can use the AjaxControll Toolkit released by Microsoft and you're done.

Don't forget the Google Web Toolkit and script.aculo.us.
Also see this "shootout" comparison of many AJAX toolkits ...

(Be careful with the AJAX Control Kit, from MS ... it's not exactly a purist approach ...)

Some good javascript frameworks are: YUI, Scriptaculous, Prototype, JQuery & Mootools.
