Heck of a time with layers!!

i'm in the process of trying to set up a mouse over command that will have a layer appear in a specific place through dreamweaver 8

well, i can't seem to get it to work!

1. i can only get the layer to appear on mouse-over, yet it will not disappear on mouse-out

2. it floats all over the place depending on the browser.

i thought i had been able to specify its coordinates through its properties, but i really think i'm missing a few things.

i admit to be a newbie to trying layers, but i want to learn to do this right. any help would be appreciated.

PS: YES i did read the dreamweaver help doc, and it did not come close to bailing me out!!!

When you have a coding problem, there's always good for you (and for us) if you provide a sample of your code or a url to the page.

You also have to setup the code, just like you did to make it appear, but this time you have to set it to hide the layer on mouse out.
