fit page to screen code

Im looking for a code that will automatcally resize the page (not the browser) so all the information fits on the screen....the page was built by 1024,768......and i just want it to detect settings and resize for people surfing at lower resolutions

is it possible???

You can use percentages for everything instead of actual pixel sizes.

would it work if i put the whole page into 1 table and used 100% on that table.......or would i need to adjust all the tables within?

i just started converting them to %'s ......but it doesnt seem to be jiving


is the %...the % of page coverage or if there is a table within a table is it the percentage of the table...???

If you set your outside table to 100%, but a table inside is is set to 1000px, the inside table will stretch the outside table out to 1000px.

So make your ouside table 100%, which makes it 100% of the body. Then everything inside will be a percentage of that table's size. Make sense?
