just a idea
I'm working on a total CSS image gallery. To say I'm trying to use a:hover to swap background images in a large <div> from thumbnails that are blocks in <li> tags.(Confused) me to. I think this can be done.(no javascript). What do you think?

You say that you have some thumbnailed images sorted in a list and when you hover them you want to display the hovered one as a background of a div?
Yes? Then it can be done.

The larger image will display in a different area. Like navigation only the swap background will be off to the side. It requires relative position to be different on each thumb so the swap is always in the same spot. I'm gonna buy another domain today so I will have an example to look at later
