hey, I am searching for a good "news manager" - a script that I can use to post news on a site.
and, don't you think that PHP-Nuke is a bit messy?

Fusion News is good, its on hotscripts, i used to use it, the layout can be completely customised from the admin panel by adding your own html.

I use phpnuke and know the owner of the best phpnuke template site, thethemes.net.
Its a great CMS, the best, but it would replace your entire site if you chose to use it, your better using a script like Fusion News.

the best CMS by far is Xaraya (www.xaraya.com)

I wouldn't use anything else personaly.

I tried, but prefer phpnuke. Phpnuke has alot more mods etc for it. It has a bigger development team, kinda like phpBB, where patches are often released.

I would take a look at Mambo. Mambo actually is a finailist for the "Best Linux or Open Source Software". Linux & Developer Awards in london later this month.

I use it as my perfered CMS...

but the thingy is, i have 2 choices, i didn't start making the site now, so i have to choose if i want to make the whole site based on php-nuke ... or not. thanks for the info Unreal. and i'll check Mambo CTLwebs, thanks.
