Question Playing music on a website

Hi all,

I love lurking around and finally got to post something which I couldn't find the answer for.

I want to play music on a website, and I want the music to stay on all the time even when the user goes to another page.

On the other hand I won't like to use frames and such because of SEO considerations.

Any ideas?

thanks people.

don't put music on your website unless it is a band site or something similar. It annoys the crap out of most users.

1. It's not my website, and they really want music and I have nothing I can do about it.
2. I want the music to stay on all the time even when the user goes to another page. That I couldn't find an answer for.

Help?

Thanks!

You may have to use a pop-up screen for this so then your music will continue. Once you leave one page music will come on for the next. But the first song will cancel.

There may be a way that your site can open a pop-up screen that will play your music in another small screen -maybe some widget? Good luck!

And you'll never find one (at least not now, anyway).

Unless your website is not fully "ajax-ified" you can't do that!

That is, the visitor should not be supposed to leave the page that playes the BgSound.

If the user leaves that page, there is nothing in this world that can make the BGSound keep playing.
