Can anyone help me with php login scripts

Hi
Can anyone help me to sort out an error on my site, i have ahd it developed by someone else and now they are saying that to remove the errors on my site they want more money from me,
I thought i would try and fix it myself first with maybe some help from you guys.
When i log in as a user i get this error come up: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/costabla/public_html/admin/config.php:3) in /home/costabla/public_html/admin/login.html(24) : eval()'d code on line 69
22Cookie not set.

Can any one tell me how to get rid of this.

I agree with Dan-- we need to see code to be able to help.

Concerning that error message, it happens when you try to call the header() function after output has already been sent to the browser.

And on a slightly different note, that is a very basic error if you are a coder. Without knowing more, I would say I wouldn't want to pay that coder ANY more money if they turned the code over to you in that condition.
