Can a 'swap image' graphic contain image mapping?

I am trying to create a drop-down menu for navigation purposes in the following way:

one graphic appears when page is loaded (ie, News)
when moused over the second graphic with drop-down menu appears (ie, editorials, press releases)

I would like the words in the new graphic to be active links to the 'editorials' and 'press releases page'.

I know how to use image mapping when the graphic is already on the page, but not when using 'swap image'.

Can anyone help please?

I think I know what you mean... Macromedia Dreamweaver MX has built in fuctions to create image drop down menus.

Other than that its not exactly hard to create the drop downs but it takes a lot of work.

I don't use Dreamweaver, and am happy to do the work - but I don't know how!

Can you recommend a site where I can get the information I need?
