Need help tweaking script

I have a script to control the "slideshow" in the header of this site:

http://www.jtmlasvegas.com/proof/index2.html

However, there are 2 things I need to tweak...

How do I get rid of the space below the images?

And how do I tell the script to stop functioning after the 2nd image. Basically, all I want is for the first image to show up, and then fade into black and that's it.

I tested this with FF running on a Linux box. YOU will have to test on a different OS(s).

This has the pic on the LEFT on the screen all time. The 2 guys on the RIGHT fade in then fade to black AND STOP!

Here is a snippit of ORIGINAL code:

Change it to this:

if (!imgs.controls_top){
document.write(this.ics? '' : '');
this.controls();

The 2nd line, get rid of the brs. AGAIN, you will need to test.
